FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is SafeShare Audit for?
SafeShare Audit is for the moment when you want to review a link consciously before sending or publishing it:
what is inside the link, what can be removed, what should stay, and how the decision is documented.
Why is SafeShare Audit written for newsletter authors?
Because newsletter authors regularly send links to many people. Shortly before sending,
it is useful to check not only whether a link works, but also which visible extras it contains.
What does SafeShare Audit check?
SafeShare Audit checks visible URL components such as campaign parameters, click IDs,
partner or affiliate markers, coupons, redirect context, and functional parameters.
Does SafeShare Audit remove everything automatically?
No. Not every parameter is unnecessary. SafeShare Audit shows what was detected,
what can be removed, and what may need to be kept deliberately.
Are my links uploaded?
No. The check runs locally in your browser. Links are not uploaded to SafeShare for review.
Is SafeShare Audit a VPN or tracker blocker?
No. SafeShare Audit works on the link itself. It is not a VPN, not a full tracker blocker,
and not protection against tracking on the destination site.
Why do I need SafeShare Audit if my newsletter tool checks links?
Newsletter tools usually check whether a link is reachable. SafeShare Audit additionally shows
which extras are inside the link and which decision you make before sending it.
Is there a subscription?
No. SafeShare Audit is intended as a one-time purchase.
